Working closely with the founder, I was involved in:
Interviewing 5 industrial designers and observing their day-to-day work routines
Assigning themes to pain points and opportunities identified.
Mapping the existing workflow to notice areas where time was being lost to non-creative tasks.
Iteratively designing and testing wireframes with the industrial designers to explore whether they would address pain points.
Designing high-fidelity UI (based on earlier prototypes) for development.
In the month of pilot running, the industrial design agency had:
The highest monthly revenue in the year to date
Reduced project lead times based on tracked time by 10% on average
Early on, the high-fidelity prototypes I designed in Figma showing conceptual features contributed to the pitch that resulted in a pre-seed investment from a venture capital.
